BIOGRAPHY
American actor Eric Dane began working as an amateur theater actor during high school and realized that was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. After graduation he moved to Los Angeles and made his television debut in 1993 with The Wonder Years . His first leading role on the big screen was in the German feature film Panic on the High Seas (2006). He also co-starred in Marley and Me (2008) and Valentine’s Day (2010). In X-Men III: The Last Stand (2006) he played Jamie Madrox’s character, the Multiple Man. However, Dane is best known for playing doctors on television: he was Dr. Cooper on Gideon’s Crossing (2000) and, from 2006 to 2012, he appeared as Dr. Mark Sloan, the plastic surgeon on Grey’s Anatomy (2005) . ). Recently, he played the role of Tom Chandler in The Last Ship (2014-2018) and Cal Jacobs in Euphoria (2019).
