BIOGRAPHY
Jake Edward Hoffman is an American actor and director, born on March 20, 1981, in Los Angeles, California. Son of actors Dustin Hoffman and Lisa Gottsegen, Jake grew up in an artistic environment, appearing, as a child, in small roles in the films When Brothers Meet (1988) and Hook (1991). Both experiences led him to want to dedicate himself to cinema, in front of and behind the cameras. A graduate of NYU Film School, Hoffman has directed music videos and his own short films, but he has developed an interesting career as an actor. Among his career, Jake has appeared in films such as The Version of My Life (2010), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), The Irishman (2019) and in series such as Luck (2012), Ray Donovan (2016) and Wu- Tang: An American Saga (2019), among others. In 2021 he is part of the cast of the film Superior , which marks the feature film debut of filmmaker Erin Vassilopoulos.
