Jordan Rishel Obituary Blair NE, Man Killed In car accident

Jordan Rishel Obituary, Death – A person who had previously served on the Washington County Board of Commissioners was one of the people who lost their lives in a crash that took place after midnight on Thursday. The incident occurred on Highway 30, directly across from Marshall Nursery Road, at roughly seven o’clock on Thursday evening. “Jordan Rishel, 45, a former board member, passed away after she lost control of her Jeep on sloppy roads and collided with a pickup truck that was approaching from behind,” the Nebraska State Patrol reported.

Rishel was a former board member. Between the years 2018 and 2022, Rishel served as a resident of Washington County on the Board of Commissioners. Additionally, she served as the Director of the Washington County Community Foundation in addition to her eleven-year tenure as the Director of the Blair Chamber of Commerce.

Both of these positions were held simultaneously. A statement was published by Steve Dethlefs, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the County Board. In the statement, he said, “The county has lost a true servant, leader, and most importantly, a friend.”

The Board of Directors would like to express our sincere condolences to the Rishel family. Our hearts are filled with sorrow. It was determined that the injuries sustained by the individuals who were inside the pickup truck were not judged to be life-threatening, and they were transported to the hospital. Authorities have not yet completed their investigation into the crash.
