Named Óscar Isaac Hernández Estrada, Oscar Isaac is a renowned actor and singer, of Guatemalan and North American nationality, born on March 9, 1979, in Guatemala City. The son of a Cuban father and Guatemalan mother, Oscar and his family moved to Miami, where he grew up and spent most of his childhood. From the age of 12, Oscar began playing the guitar and little by little he discovered a particular talent for music, which led him to participate in different bands, in various musical genres, where he stood out for his skill with the guitar and bass.
Studying at the prestigious Julliard school of music and performing arts in New York, he became interested in acting and drama. Although she debuted in a small role in the 1996 film, Illtown; His first professional acting role was in the film All About the Benjamins (2002), while he was still in school. His first major role was in The Nativity Story (2006).
