BIOGRAPHY
Teresa Ruíz López is a Mexican actress, born on December 21, 1988, in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. She grew up in Los Angeles, California, until she came of age and, later, she returned to Mexico to live in Mexico City. Invited by legendary actor Martin Landau to the prestigious Actors Studio, Teresa studied under Landa, Greta Seacat and Sandra Seacat, among other instructors. She would debut in feature films with the film Bienvenido paisano (2006), and then join films such as Viaje ronda (2007), for which she would be recognized at different film festivals; Colosio: The Murder (2012), Tlatelolco, Verano de 68 (2013), Cantinflas (2014), Villa, Itinerary of a Passion (2015). Recently, the actress has attracted attention for her participation in the television series Here on Earth (2018) and Narcos: México (2018), where she plays a woman fighting for respect in a world full of men.
