BIOGRAPHY
Tyler Labine and his brothers Cameron and Kyle took the family video camera and began making movies in their childhood. They soon sought professional representation and quickly turned their hobby into a profession. The family moved to Vancouver in 1991 and Labine began to be in high demand. He had his first screen credit in 1991, with a guest role on the Canadian legal drama Street Legal . One of his most recognized roles is that of Dale in the comedy-horror film Tucker and Dale Fight Evil (2010). In the last decade, Labine has participated in numerous television projects such as the CBS comedy Mad Love (2011), the NBC comedy series Animal Practice (2012), and the Hulu show Deadbeat (2014-2016). Since 2018, Labine has played the role of Dr. Iggy From in the NBC medical drama New Amsterdam , a drama set in the hallways of a hospital that follows the new medical director of America’s oldest public hospital as he breaks the rules to heal the system. .
